Off to the Italian Cup in jumping and Nordic combined: appointment on Sunday in Pellizzano

First summer event of the blue season in Val di Sole: here is the entire program of youth competitions.

On Sunday 11 July, at the center of the Pellizzano jump, the curtain will rise on the summer season of jumping and Nordic combined with the first act of the Italian Cup. In the control room the Monte Giner sports group of president Massimino Bezzi, who will propose a series of youth challenges with the Municipality of Pellizzano Cup at stake. The best young people from the national FISI centers are expected in Val di Sole, aged up to the under 14 category, representing Friuli Venezia Giulia, Alto Adige and Trentino, the latter with the two Pellizzano nurseries followed by the technicians Davide Bresadola and Giulio Bezzi, then Predazzo followed by Roberto Dellasega. The program includes free training on Saturday afternoon, then on Sunday morning we will start at 9.30 with the special jump competition on the HS20 and HS38 trampolines according to the categories. Trials also valid for the Nordic combined, which will have as its epilogue the cross challenge of running on foot inside the center of the Pellizzano jump over distances ranging from 1000 to 3000 meters. As always, there will be particular expectations both for the individual category competitions, as well as for the ranking by company. The Coppa Comune di Pellizzano is a competition expected by all young jumpers from all over Italy, because it represents the first act of the summer calendar after a year of stoppage due to the pandemic and with this in mind the organization of Monte Giner has prepared a series of directives to comply with health protocols on Covid-19. The first act of the Italian Cup will not be the only organizational commitment for the association of Val di Sole, given that at the end of the month (on July 31 and August 1), the traditional international Ski Jumping Festival will also be held in Pellizzano, with many young people competing from the states of the Alps.
