A scenario usually reserved for biathlon is the one that will involve the Italian cross-country skiing World Cup team, convened by the technical director Marco Selle for the meeting to be held in Anterselva. The team composed of Federico Pellegrino, Francesco De Fabiani, Maicol Rastelli, Giandomenico Salvadori and Lucia Scardoni will train from Sunday 12 to Sunday 19 July under the orders of the responsible coach Stefano Saracco and of the athletic trainer Enrico Perri. There will be no Greta Laurent, who continues the recovery after the stop imposed for an elbow injury.
The youth group of Milan-Cortina 2026, however, will be engaged in Passo Lavazè on the same days, with Anna Comarella, Caterina Ganz, Francesca Franchi, Martina Bellini, Cristina Pittin, Nicole Monsorno, Stefan Zelger, Michael Hellweger, Paolo Ventura, Simone Da Prà, Lorenzo Romano, Luca Del Fabbro and Davide Graz, followed by technicians Renato Pasini and Fulvio Scola.
