Norwegian solo in the 10 km TC of Oberstdorf: Klaebo dominates in front of Krueger and Toenseth. Happy 9th De Fabiani

The first of the two races of the Tour de Ski 2023 on German territory saw Johannes Klaebo sign the third victory in three races within the event; Norway taking the whole podium with Simen Krueger in second position and Didrik Toenseth in third. Francesco De Fabiani grabs the top 10 and closes 9th; limits the damage also ''Chicco'' Pellegrino, 21st.

The 10 km classic in Oberstdorf (third round of the Tour de Ski 2023) saw Johannes Klaebo make the first important stretch in the general classification, already winner of the inaugural sprint and the pursuit, which took place on the snow of Val Mustair . The '96 class Norge quite clearly detached his opponents at the finish line, thus also obtaining his third victory in three races held in this edition of the Tour de Ski. Klaebo got off to a fairly calm start, subsequently picking up the pace shortly after halfway through the race (5 km), completing an impressive last sector of the final lap. In 2nd place we find Simen Krueger, who also did very well from the middle of the race onwards, the only athlete able to stay under a ''20" gap from Klaebo; an excellent Didrik Toenseth joins 3rd place, at ''22 "4 from the winner. The Swede Calle Halfvarsson is missing the podium by just over two seconds, extraordinary in the first half of the race, who nevertheless obtained a great result, unexpected on the eve. The yellow bib Paal Golberg finishes 5th, obtaining some very useful points in general terms. (updating)
