Atomic, what a blow in cross-country skiing: Dario Cologna has chosen the Austrian brand!

After an entire career spent with Fischer, the 35-year-old Swiss has opted for the change of materials for next season.

Atomic also aims to get serious in cross-country skiing: from next season Dario Cologna (four-time Olympic champion and four-time World Cup winner) will compete with the materials of the Austrian brand. In addition, the '86 class, originally from Val Mustair, will also be ambassador of the brand and his experience will also be very useful to the Austrian house to improve and offer more and more performing materials even in cross-country skiing. Cologna explained the reasons for this change through an official statement: "It was time for me to find new challenges, this change of materials and the development of the new Atomic skis are very strong motivations for me". Great satisfaction also on the part of Yan Vallet, director of the Nordic sector of Atomic: "The arrival of Dario is a great luck for us, he is an expert athlete, of great quality and motivated: his contribution will be very important". Dario Cologna thus joins other excellent names in the cross-country skiing with the Austrian brand, such as Simen Krüger, Tiril and Lotta Udnes Weng, Johanna Hagström, Hugo Lapalus and Evgeny Belov.
