Cross Country Skiing - Alpen Cup
At the same time the last three stages of the Tour de Ski in Planica were held for three races Valdie & rsquo; Alpen Cup, the Continental Cup reserved for the Alpine countries. Here's a recap of what happened starting from the female sector.

SPRINT TL FEMALE
The first test female, a Sprint free technique, you & egrave; held Friday & Igrave ;. Double podium for the Italians, with Gaia Vuerich and Greta Laurent second and third respectively behind the newfound Vesna Fabjan. The bronze medal in Sochi this format twelve months ago & egrave; I had surgery on my heart for a & rsquo; arrhythmia, is slowly regaining the form of best and see you soon among the stars in the World Cup. Good fifth of St Giulia & uuml; rz behind the Canadian Emily Nishikawa and before the Swiss Tatjana Stiffler.

10 KM TC FEMMINILE
Saturday & egrave; It was the turn of a 10 km classic technique with interval start. German double with the success of the young Victoria in front of Carl Julia Belger; fourth Sofie Krehl complete the great day Teutonic. On the podium salt l & rsquo; interloper Canadian Emily Nishikawa, while in Italy there is the house & rsquo; fifth place Catherine Ganz, l & rsquo; eighth of St Giulia & uuml; rz and the twelfth of Debora Roncari.

10 KM TL FEMALE
Sunday the three-day women's Planica is & egrave; ended with a & rsquo; the other 10 Km always starting at intervals but in free technique. Splendid double blue, with Julia St & uuml; rz dominating the scene in front of Catherine Ganz (pictured), the first podium of his career at the Alpen Cup, even the good tenth place Debora Roncari. New third place for Emily Nishikawa and other good placings for Julia Belger fourth and sixth behind Victoria Carl French Marion Buillet.

In the overall standings of Alpen Cup Female, finally officially updated by the FIS, Julia St & uuml; rz take the lead with 423 points against the 418 of Julia Belger and 298 Laura Gimmler. It dates from the sixth Catherine Ganz & egrave; 268 points in the fight for the final podium.
MALE SPRINT TL
Let the male sector, which has seen France protagonist in the Sprint free technique that opened the program. Baptiste Gros won it in front of the Russian Gleb Retivikh and three countrymen, Jay Renaud third, Richard Lucas Chavanat Jouve fourth and fifth. Enrico Nizzi Completes batch of finalists, while Fran & ccedil; ois Vierin and Claudio M & uuml; ller, eliminated in the semifinals, obtained respectively a seventh and an eighth.

15 KM TC MALE
New French triumph in the 15 km classic technique starting at intervals held Saturday. It imposes Alexis Jeannerod, which precedes by just 2/2 a Richard Jouve who demonstrate ability to compete in the trials distance; the triumph transalpine & egrave; completed by Valentin Chauvin, fourth behind the Canadian Graeme Killick. Double top ten for Italians Fabio Clementi Fabio Pasini eighth and tenth.

L & rsquo; unforgettable stage in Planica for the French colors ends Sunday with a & rsquo; other goals in the 15 km free technique. Clement wins Parisse before Valentin Chauvin and Mickael Philipot fourth. Among them Paul slips Fanton, the first podium of his career in a race Alpen Cup; top ten for Enrico Nizzi eighth and Claudio M & uuml; ller tenth.

Change at the top of the overall standings of Alpen Cup Male. Giandomenico Salvadori, obviously absent as busy with good results in the Tour de Ski, is exceeded by Valentin Chauvin, who leads with 458 points against the 440 of & rsquo; blue. Third & egrave; German Thomas Wick to 254, while Claudio M & uuml; ller occupies sixth place to share 213.
The 'Alpen Cup takes a break. The next round & egrave; in fact fixed at Campra, Switzerland, between just under a month.
