Biathletes and cross-country skiers protagonists at the BlinkFestivalen: the 2019/2020 season starts from Norway

It will be a national team full of stars, from Wierer to Vittozzi and Windisch, passing through Pellegrino and De Fabiani, the one competing at Sandnes.

In fact, the 2019/2020 season for biathletes and cross-country skiers from all over the world is expected to take place with the classic summer appointment of the BlinkFestivalen in Norway, expected for an event with an increasingly growing following. The elite group of the blue biathlon team will stay in Sandnes until Thursday 8 August, taking part in the various races, with the exception of Lukas Hofer (who will train with his teammates on Scandinavian days), on the roller skis for a BlinkFestivalen which will see at the start many stars, including the world champions Dorothea Wierer and Dominik Windisch, as well as Lisa Vittozzi and, for the occasion, the ds Fabrizio Curtaz has also called Thomas Bormolini. Two competitions are scheduled: Friday 2 August starts at 4 pm with a series of challenges at the shooting range, followed at 17.10 by the male and female prologue and at 6.55 pm by the mass start. Saturday, August 3rd instead a sprint. Instead, the junior / youth team moves to Forni Avoltri for training scheduled from Wednesday 31 July and ending on Thursday 8 August. FONDISTS AT THE BLINK At Sandnes there will also be Federico Pellegrino and Francesco De Fabiani, the peaks of the Italian foundry movement. From Tuesday, July 30th until Monday, August 12th, the pair of champions from the Aosta Valley will carry out a long training tour, starting right from the BlinkFestivalen. The sprint world champion will be at the start of the mass start on Friday 2 and the sprint on Saturday 3 August. Ditto for the "DeFa", which will add to the competitive commitments also the Blink Classics on the 60 km scheduled for Wednesday 31 July and the 7.5 km uphill on Thursday 1 August.
