Nearly 20 months after the last official release, dated March 27, 2015, Marit Bjørgen will return to competition next Friday, the traditional start of season event in Beitostølen.

Find out under what conditions you will present at the start of the most successful long-distance runner of all time, after maternity leave and a whole season followed by the sofa at home, is one of the main reasons of interest of the weekend tests.
Interviewed by NRK, the Norwegian champion admitted pawing for the return, but chose a low profile, calling himself "an outsider." Not exactly an outsider, however, are the chances that Bjørgen attaches to win at least one of the two races which will take part: "I would say 60%."
Among the challenges facing the 36-year old Rognes it will figure in this season also the management of a new daily routine: "It will be totally different. I'll have to look after my son, so my days will change a bit '', although I do not know exactly how. "
Bjørgen plans to participate in two 10 km planned program: the one on Friday and one on Saturday's classic skating.
