Celine Brun Lie: In Alaska a wonderful experience dallenamento

In a & rsquo; interview with the Norwegian FIS official website describes her experience d & rsquo; summer training with Team USA in Alaska.

You have just completed three weeks of training in Anchorage, Alaska. In two of these weeks you have participated in a retreat with the American women's team. Your teammate Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen had done the same thing last summer. What & rsquo; & egrave; was your motivation to go to Alaska? I met some of the girls of the World Cup a couple of years ago and I found them very nice. I've always been fascinated by how they can stay away from home cos & igrave; much and at the same time get great performance and have so much energy remaining in good spirits. Since I love to travel I thought it would be a great opportunity & agrave; to see a new place and learn more about the girls of Team USA and maybe exchanging of ideas. L & rsquo; experience & egrave; go as you expected? Much better! The way they welcomed me, l & rsquo; being treated as a member of the team from day one, I did not expect really. The girls were fantastic and I was immediately made to feel at home and the coaches have helped me with everything from technical & Outdoors; equipment. Norway has a long tradition in cross country skiing. You are part of the national team for several years now, you have learned something from the American program? I think the Americans have a different way of seeing things. We talked a lot about the traditions, the fact that Norway has a great history behind it whereas the United States is a relatively young nation in cross country skiing. I think if you can find the happy medium between these two things, you can fly high, as we have seen for this team. They have already & agrave; some of the best skiers in the world and so many other talented players are going to get, I learned to think outside the normal box. Do you have a favorite memory of your time in Alaska? This & egrave; a difficult question! I enjoyed it so much and many people have accompanied me on many adventures in Alaska! Eagle & The glacier will remain agrave; definitely my favorite glacier on which to ski for a long time! E & rsquo; was wonderful skiing in a place cos & igrave; wonderful and the way in which Erik Flora has prepared the track & egrave; was perfect! This & egrave; was the first time that you went out with a Norwegian team to train you & rsquo; another country? As a junior I went to France to train with some French athletes and have since gone l & igrave; every summer. L & rsquo; Alaska & egrave; famous for its wildlife and its nature. Were you able to see some bear, moose or salmon? I saw a lot of moose (l & igrave; are cos & igrave; domesticated !!) and a lot of salmon in the rivers. Unfortunately I have not seen bears, although we hoped it would be a lot, so will have to ograve &; definitely come back ...!
