The winter has not yet arrived and the big appointment is missing more than three months, but the volunteers are already carrying on with the preparations.

In recent weeks, the bridge over the Valnontey torrent has been built, which will make the 5 km loop suitable for the World Cup standards. The organizing committee, taking advantage of the absence of snow, also proceeded with the transfer of the entire route. On the other hand, another team of volunteers is dedicating themselves to the construction of the stadium.
The competitions of the maximum international circuit will be staged on February 16th and 17th, just a few days before the start of the World Championships in Seefeld (Aut). For the Valdostana area this will be the main highlight of the season, but not the only one. On February 1, 2 and 3, in fact, Cogne will host the Italian Championship, the Italian Cup with the Gran Paradiso March. In 2020 there will be the Master World Championships instead.
