Last week Lausanne's Tas had announced the list of hearings scheduled until the beginning of July. Surprise did not appear in the case of Therese Johaug, which should have been held on 6 June. After a week of mystery, it was known that the date is confirmed.

The founder, Christian Hjort, told Aftenposten newspaper: "We are happy, because we wanted to go to Switzerland as soon as possible.
Now we were certain. The hearing set for 6 June means receiving the verdict by the end of the summer. We hope that the sentence can be issued in August, but with holidays there is a risk of time shrinking. However, at least we will know the decision for the first time in September. "
Clearly the will to know as soon as possible the verdict is dictated by the need to understand how to adjust, if necessary, the preparation of the athlete.
Johaug was disqualified by the Norwegian Olympic Committee for 13 months and, at present, he could be back from 18 November. The ruling was considered congruent by Wada and Cio, but not by Fis, who filed an appeal considering it too bland.
If the Tas decides to raise it for three months, Therese should automatically say goodbye to the PyeongChang Olympic Games. Even two more months could be a big problem in the optics of qualifying at the Five Circus event.
