Ramsau hosts the meeting of the national cross-country team that meets Federico Pellegrino. And the queen of biathlon also warms up her engines.

It is the heart of Styria, with the excellent conditions that the Dachstein glacier, which dominates Ramsau, has, to kick off the already winter season for many Italian athletes.
Like Dorothea Wierer, working in Austria for the first time on narrow skis, after a lot of summer training with roller skis; the same goes for the national cross-country skiing team. In addition to the young people of the Milan-Cortina 2026 team, the World Cup group also arrived in Ramsau in the past few hours, with Francesco De fabiani, Maicol Rastelli, Giandomenico Salvadori and Lucia Scardoni, joined by Federico Pellegrino and Greta Laurent in recovery from their respective injuries and ready to work at full capacity, or almost, until next 3 October.
Also present were the head coach Stefano Saracco and the technicians Francois Ronc Cella and Marco Brocard.
