De Fabiani third in the 15 km alternating Falun won by Bolshunov

First victory and tenth podium in individual top-level competitions for the young Russian who defeated the Swedish Calle Halfvarsson, third place for Francesco De Fabiani.

The race was very balanced and tactical, at the head of the group have alternated several athletes but no one has managed to make the difference. The most active were the Russians Bolshunov and especially Chervotkin, who more times tried to increase the pace, but 2 km from the finish line the group was still strong of 31 units, including also the Blues De Fabiani, Pellegrino and Rastelli. In the final the first to launch the gauntlet was the Swedish Halfvarsson who launched a strong and prolonged attack on the last climb. The only one able to stay in his wake was Bolshunov, the two arrived paired on the final straight, playing the success in the sprint, clearly won by the Russian. Behind the group remained very compact but in the final sprint the best inspiration was that of Francesco De Fabiani, the fifth podium in his career in individual competitions of the first level, the second seasonal, the fourth in a 15 km starting line. The blue has overtaken Alexey Poltoranin 4th, Chervotkin 5th, Cologna 6th and an excellent Federico Pellgrino, always in the top positions and 7th at the end. The Norwegians Sundby, Dyrhaug and Roethe also entered the top ten. Eleventh instead the third Italian, Maicol Rastelli. At the end of the first two stages, under the minitour of Falun there is Alexander Bolshunov with 38 "ahead of KlÃ¦bo, 39" on Halfvarsson and Pellegrino and 45 "on De Fabiani. As for the overall classification of the World Cup KlÃ¦bo with 249 points margin on Cologna and 251 on Sundby, respectively 2nd and 3rd. Tomorrow is scheduled the last race of the season, a 15 km skating. The athletes will start with the gaps accumulated in the first two stages
