The rich program of the Alpe Adria Summer Nordic Festival 2019 is officially presented today, the FIS competition that will bring to the Carnia Arena International Biathlon Center of Forni Avoltri all the best Italian and some foreign cross-country skiers, who from 6 to 8 September will they will challenge on the slopes of the famous Carnic location for the national summer titles of cross-country skiing and roller-skiing.

The event organized as usual by the ASD Monte Coglians in collaboration with the Ski CAI Trieste ASD will bring in Carnia many samples, among which stand out the recent world-wide medalists in cross-country skiing Federico Pellegrino and Francesco De Fabiani and some stars of the roller skis headed by fresh world champions in the sprint team Matteo Tanel and Francesco Becchis.
The event, which enjoys the full support of FVG Promoturismo, was strongly supported by the Technical Directors Marco Selle (fund) and Michel Rainer (skiroll) who confirmed the Carnia Arena for the third consecutive year as the ideal place to assign the Italian summer ski titles cross-country skiing and roller skiing.
The rich program of the Alpe Adria Summer Nordic Festival weekend will open on the morning of Friday 6 September with the tests of the race skirolls made available this year by three Italian companies: Skiskett, Skiway and L''Ess, while in the early afternoon the athletes can train freely along the slopes of the Carnia Arena.
Saturday, September 7 instead will be serious with the delivery of the Italian sprint titles. Starting from 09.30 am the boys of the Under 18 and Under 20 categories will battle. In the early afternoon, at 2.30 pm, instead, the "ninety pieces" will be on the track starting with Federico Pellegrino who will aim to graduate as Italian summer sprint champion for the third consecutive year.
The two-day competition will end on Sunday 8 September with the distance tests. From 09.00 the youngsters of the Under 18 and Under 20 categories will be on the track, while the "big" will start at 11.15 am with the senior female race. These competitions, as well as those sprints, in addition to assigning the Italian titles will have a FIS value and will guarantee the first seasonal points in the Italian Cup circuit and the Coppa Italia Giovani Rode of cross-country skiing.
In addition to the competitive aspect, the organizers have also thought of some outline activities. During the competition period a real sponsor village will be set up at the entrance of the stadium which will see the participation of companies in the sector, sponsors of the event but also some fan clubs and it will be possible to buy the much sought after Guru of Skiing gadgets.
Media coverage will be ensured by Neveitalia Media, the official partner of the event that from June 2017 guarantees the webcam service to the Federal Carnia Arena International Biathlon Center.
