This afternoon the Ski Tour opened in Oestersund, a stage test similar to the Tour de Ski, which is held between Sweden and Norway. In both the men's 15km and the women's 10km the podium was monopolized by Norway.

The 15 km men's free technique saw the Norwegian Sjur Roethe triumph, capable of a great comeback in the second part of the race and an excellent finish, which allowed him to beat compatriot Simen Hegstad Krueger on the wire.
