A bitter awakening at the Nordic skiing world of Seefeld, with the anti-doping blitz by the Austrian and German police.

The coordinated operation in two different locations with 17 different blitz, in Seefeld in Austria and in Erfurt in Germany. The forces of the order carried out 9 arrests including 5 athletes. The nationalities of the athletes are Austria (2), Estonia (2) and Kazakhstan (1). The names are not yet known but at the start of the 15 km of today in Seefeld did not start: the Estonis Veerpalu and Tammjarv, and the Kazakh competing for the Poltoranin medal.
The operation resulted from an investigation into a German criminal organization aimed at trafficking in illegal substances and sporting frauds. According to Hajo Seppelt, an important journalist known above all thanks to the investigation into Russian doping, he believes that the raid is linked to the declarations of Johannes Dürr in the January 201'ARD documentary "The Greed for Gold". At the base of everything there would be the sports physician Mark Schmidt former doctor of the Gerolsteiner former German cycling team.
