After the Nordic Opening in Lillehammer, Martin Johnsrud Sundby made its also the 30km free technique in Davos. Norway has confirmed its global supremacy by placing in the top ten also Hans Christer Holund, eighth, and the 23 year old Simen Hegstad Krüger, ninth. Dario Cologna completed the top 10, ahead of a Manificat which was unable to follow up the brilliant start.
Negative the day the budget for the Italian national team. Francesco De Fabiani, after a slow start, has climbed positions in the middle phase, thanks to tow Legkov. Lost queues of Russian, has slipped back out of the points, until the 39th place finish.

Thanks to the absence of Calle Halfvarsson, who preferred to save himself for the TL sprint tomorrow, Sundby definitely stretches in the overall standings of the World Cup. The Norwegian fact leads with 450 points, in front of 316 and 304 Halfvarsson Johannes Høsflot Klæbo. Today's third place allows Heikkinen to hoist himself into fourth place (289), just ahead of Emil Iversen (281).
