Fabjan Falla burning in the sprint Beitostlen

Despite the fierce resistance of an excellent Vesna Fabjan, Maiken Caspersen Falla, holder of the sprint World Cup, has reaffirmed its mastery in the final round of the Beitosprint.

So it was, it was not for Fabjan, the only one to hold the tails of Norway when the latter attacked the last uphill stretch. After the race, Falla has admitted to having threatened to undermine an almost gained victory by an error of assessment: "I had not realized that Vesna was so close, I was convinced of being in full control." On the lowest rung of the podium rose Mari Eide, who until the semi-finals had seemed the most likely to worry Falla. After the test, the 27 year-old spoke of "very good day", adding he felt "stronger than before." For the first time during the long weekend of Beitostølen, Norway has not monopolized the top positions.
