A very intense Friday in the Norwegian event, with the Aosta Valley cross-country skier beaten only by the Frenchman Chautemps. Christiansen and Davidova, the big names in biathlon in the fastest races.

Federico Pellegrino conquered the first podium for Italy in the 2022 edition of the Blinkfestivalen, finishing in second place the 15 km mass start of Sandnes. The policeman from Nus was beaten by a whisker in the final sprint by Arnaud Chautemps; in third position concluded another transalpine athlete, Renaud Jay, also with a gap below the second. A step away from the top ten concluded a very good Matteo Tanel: the blue roller skier in fact finished 11th at 3 ”6 from the winner and can certainly be proud of what he has done in an absolute level starter park.
Fair performance by Davide Graz, 14th at 4 ”, always remaining in the upper part of the group. Twenty-fourth final position for the other Italian in the race, Francesco De Fabiani, 7 ”1 behind.
Unstoppable Linn Soemskar in the women's test, with an encore by the Swede who also took the 10 km mass start, burning Victoria Carl and Eva Urevc in the sprint: 15th Anna Comarella, the only Italian at the start after giving up the 48 km.
The super sprints of the Blinkfestivalen were also staged, with the great protagonists of the biathletes. Vetle Sjastad Christiansen is a prophet at home, forcing Martin Femsteinevik to 2nd place and his teammate Sturla Holm Laegreid to 3rd place, further away the Boe brothers (Tarjei 6th, Johannes 15th), straddling the top ten the two big names French, with the winner of the World Cup, Quentin Fillon Maillet, tenth ahead of Emilien Jacquelin (14th).
The women's super sprint instead rewarded Marketa Davidova, who reassembled the Norwegian Karoline Knotten, with Julia Simon on the third step of the podium despite several errors at the shooting range. Twenty-fifth place for Federica Sanfilippo, who missed access to the final phase of the race,
