In an interview carried out in Livigno by Dario Puppo, the number 1 of the blue fund talks about his condition, the calendar too full of appointments that directs the programming choices and his priority: stay at the top and aim for the specialty cup. And to do so, he ensures that ambition has a great impact on performance and for this reason it is right that even young people like Vittozzi and Sinner set important goals.

"I had positive feelings from the last training period and all the work we had planned was done. It's been a few years now that we come to train in autumn here in Livigno. Snowfarming allows us to make high intensity on our vehicle, cross-country skis. It helps us anticipate mid-November trainings and therefore in theory be more prepared for the first World Cup releases. "
"Backed by many athletes and federations, I had proposed to reduce the race weekends and lengthen the biathlon-style stages but it seems that from the last meetings in Zurich the thing does not matter. And therefore I will be forced to concentrate on the races that are more congenial to me."
"My goal is always to do the maximum. And for me, the maximum means winning. In these years I have become so used to it. And so I must also consider the routes, the calendar, the type of snow and my condition if I want to do myself "Finding ready. The sprint ranking is my priority. But it is not the only one. After the top 10 in the last 2 seasons, even without concluding the Tour de Ski, it is clear that I would like to do well in general. But unfortunately I have to do of my choices and interests. I'm sorry because maybe fans would like to see me at Cima al Cermis but it won't be possible ".
Speaking of important declarations and ambitious intentions of young Italian sports stars like Vittozzi and Sinner, Chicco Pellegrino explains how crucial it is to get results having important goals in mind. "Ambition is as important in an athlete's performance as the desire to train".
