The technical director of the Italian national cross-country ski team, Alfred Stauder, has chosen Piombino as the venue for the first athletic meeting of the men's and women's U20 and U23 teams.
The athletes will be engaged in a series of tests starting today, Sunday 29 May, until Wednesday 8 June. The call will be answered by Benjamin Schwingshackl, Andrea Zorzi, Davide Gho, Simone Mastrobattista, Mauro Balmetti, Hannes Oberhofer, Veronica Silvestri, Denise Dedei, Lucia Insonni, Nadine Laurent, Elisa Gallo and Iris De Martin Pinter. The two teams will be under the technical guidance of coaches Luciano Cardini, Michela Andreola and Fabio Pasini.
