For several days both the Norwegian media and the Swedish media are venturing on the hypothesis that Therese Johaug and Charlotte Kalla - both out of their respective national teams, albeit for very different reasons - can jointly prepare for the Olympic season.

Norwegian is obliged to be out of federal cadres because of doping disqualification, which, if it does not change in appeal, will end on November 18 next year. The Swede instead chose not to be included in the federation team, in order to continue training with his new trusted engineer, Magnus Ingesson. Both will therefore have to prepare themselves in solitude. For this reason, according to various sources of information from Scandinavian countries, they may decide to share the off-season in order to have a point of reference (and what point of reference) each other. For now, however, it is in the mere hypothesis field. Because Johaug did not say anything about the matter, Kalla (directly from the Express) said: "In the past few years we have already had shared training sessions, but we have not talked about preparing ourselves together . Personally, I hope Therese will be back stronger than before, but I think he will. But he is not sure of having an easy time because he has been forced to stay away from competitions and he still has no security when the disqualification will end. Surely this is very tense on the nervous plane.
