The fund confirms the departure between Ruka and Lillehammer: the calendar of the 2020/21 World Cup

The FIS has formalized next season's program, largely confirmed despite the risks associated with Covid.

The FIS Council, which awarded the 2025 Nordic World Ski Championships to Trondheim (the only candidate), at the same time definitively fixed the World Cup calendar for the next cross-country skiing season, comprising 32 races in 13 different locations. Among the novelties of 2020/21, the participation of athletes in the relays and sprint teams, who will be rewarded with the assignment of points valid for the general classification the Tour de Ski (from 1 to 10 January 2021) will be disputed over eight stages, five of which in Italy between Dobbiaco and Val di Fiemme, while there will be no classic Drammen sprint, replaced by Oslo. The World Championships in Oberstdorf confirmed from 25 February to 7 March, the last cup weekend from 19 to 21 March in Beijing for the pre-Olympic, if all goes well in Covid.
