The moment of the release of the verdict approaches by the Tas on Therese Johaug's case, which is currently disqualified for 13 months following Clostebol's positivity.

"As announced, the Tas set deadline on August 18th," said Athenian lawyer Christian B. Hjort. "We hoped that the sentence could come to the beginning of the month, but it was decided to postpone a few days. I do not know what the reason is, but we can not do anything but accept this."
However, the Tas can not procrastinate to infinity. The twenty-nine year old Norwegian hearing took place on June 6 and, by statute, the court must report any verdict within three months from the time the parties submitted to the court.
At the moment the Scandinavian is disqualified until November 18th. Translated, it could take part in the all-season 2017 - '18.
However, the FIS considered the 13-month sanction issued by the Norwegian Olympic Committee to be too low and, according to rumors that emerged in the past weeks, would have demanded that Johaug be excluded from the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games. Because of this, the disqualification should be extended to at least 16 months.
