One of the many problems that Therese Johaug has faced in recent weeks is that the coach: the anti-doping rules prohibit not only the fact of working together with the rest of the team, but also to make use of the technical Olympiatoppen, club affiliated to the Olympic Committee and other Norwegian national teams.

The defending World Cup has seen thus forced to give up even the assistance of Egil Kristiansen, staff and former coach counselor, which follows from this year's national men's biathlon.
Until December 4, when thanks to Article 12.8 of the Anti-Doping Rules of the Norwegian Olympic Committee will join the rest of the team, two weeks before the expiry of the interim suspension, Johaug will train so with his brother Karstein, four years younger.
The choice was shared with the manager Jørn Ernst, who spoke of "good solution", adding that the two have worked together in the past. Ernst said that the preparation of Johaug is progressing regularly: "It does what it has always done: wake, runs and plays on the work force."
The decision not to hire a private coach was also appreciated by Fredrik Aukland, of NRK cross-country expert: "Johaug is going through a difficult period, and does not have many resources. At such a time, it is important that you surround yourself with people who support it. Train with a family will give her peace of mind and strength ".
The athlete can still take advantage of the rest of the working tables prepared by the technicians of the national before the positive: "The workouts are normally studied in April-May," Aukland said, "so Johaug already has in hand a good plan for next weeks".
