The Men's Cross Sweden has returned from an unsuccessful season: 0 wins, just one podium, a 30th place Hellner best finish in the overall standings. According to Emil Jönsson, however, the 2016-17 season will mark a sea change.

"We figured out what we did wrong, finally," said the sprinter to Dagbladet. "The problem was in the bad management of the intensity of the workouts.
