In the chill of Vantaa (temperature around -20 °), home of the three-day championships in Finland, Jylhä won by exploiting a path suited to its characteristics, hard enough and with a long straight road on which to unleash the power that sets it apart . Second place went to Ilvo Niskanen, who has been nothing in the face of more experienced team-mate Juho Mikkonen completed the podium.

Among the women happened to Anne Kyllonen, back from a bronchitis suffered after the Tour de Ski, but from which it seems to have recovered to the fullest.
