After the day off, the Tour de Ski landed in Val di Fiemme, where a 15 km alternating stage with an on-line start was staged. The Russians tried to knock out Johannes Klæbo, who, after resisting uphill, adjusted them to the sprint.

In the first half of the race, the big boys played waiting and controlled each other. The only blazes came close to the two intermediate goals valid for the points classification and for the general classification, both won by Klæbo, who with a good team game with Roethe and Krueger managed to gnaw 7 â€in Bolshunov.
The leader of the Tour de Ski began to get serious 4 km from the finish, imparting a high pace that gradually skimmed the group. On the penultimate ascent, Sergey Ustiugov came into action, on whose tails only the same Bolshunov, Larkov, Klæbo and an excellent Sjur Roethe remained.
Even on the last roughness, the Russians tried to detach Klæbo, who, however, with his usual ski race, showed that he had recovered the brilliance that seemed lost in Dobbiaco. The Norwegian went downhill with Ustiugov and Bolshunov, beating them in the sprint. Instead he closed at the foot of the podium Larkov, who preceded Roethe 5th, Cologna 6th, Spitsov 7th, Holund 8th, Halfvarsson 9th and Niskanen 10th, all enclosed in less than 20 ".
