After the triumphal day for Italy, with the success of ''Chicco'' Pellegrino in the skating sprint, tomorrow, Sunday 18 December, it will be the turn of the 20 km in free technique. Johannes Klaebo is the main favourite, after today's 2nd place; Pellegrino, after the feat of a few hours ago, will try to amaze again in the distance races. For women, Tiril Weng will try to extend the overall standings, taking advantage of the absences of the Swedes.

After today's skating sprints, won respectively by Federico Pellegrino and Nadine Faehndrich, tomorrow, Sunday 18 December, the 20 km will take place in Davos, always in the same technique.
The day will be opened by the women's race, with the start set at 10:45. The first to leave will be the blue Anna Comrella; lots of Italy in the first ten numbers, with Cristina Pittin with bib number 4 and Francesca Franchi with number 8. The winner of today's race, Nadine Faehndrich, will start with number 18, followed by the Norwegian Lotta Weng; bib 21 for Katharina Hennig, yellow bib Tiril Weng will start with number 23, Kerttu Niskanen will start with number 25, number 25 for Jessie Diggins, second today. The last blue to start will be Martina Di Centa, with number 42; the last two important names at the start will be Krista Parmakoski, number 47, and Anne Kalvaa, number 49, the last athlete to start.

At 13:15 it will be the men's turn, with the blue Mikael Abram who will be the first athlete to open the starting gate. Low numbers also for Paolo Ventura, starting with bib number 4, while Giandomenico Salvadori will start with bib number 21. After bib number thirty the race will start to heat up: watch out for the French Hugo Lapalus (31) and Clement Parisse (34), number 36 for the Norwegian Didrik Toenseth, 38 for the British Andrew Musgrave, number for 40 for another norge, Hans Holund. Numbers 51 and 52 for the blues Davide Graz and Francesco De Fabiani; with number 54 it is the turn of the very favorite of the day, Johannes Klaebo, who today had to surrender to Federico Pellegrino, tomorrow at the start with bib number 60. Number 62 for the Norwegian Simen Krueger, while the Swede William Poromaa, last to start, will wear the bib 64.
