The women's sprint was won by Anne Kyll & ouml; nen. The 28-year old native of Kajaani, second in qualifying, it imposes a photo finish against Krista P & ä ä rm; Koski, who instead had the fastest time in the morning. Third place went to Laura Mononen, before Heini Hokkanen, Susanni Saapunki and Mona-Lisa Nousiainen.
