It closes in Sweden, for a cross-country skiing World Cup that will end in Falun, with the three-day event that will see eight Italians as protagonists between sprints in classic, scheduled for Friday 11 March (from 12.15), distance races in free technique with the 10 km women and 15 men on Saturday, and finally on Sunday the mixed relay and the mixed sprint team.
The technical director of the Italian national team, Alfred Stauder, has summoned eight athletes: Federico Pellegrino, in search of the first seasonal success after having touched the podium in classic in Drammen, Francesco De Fabiani, Simone Mocellini and Giandomenico Salvadori, brilliant in the 50 km TC of Holmenkollen.
Quartet also on a female level, with Lucia Scardoni, Greta Laurent, Nicole Monsorno and Caterina Ganz.

A Dobbiaco, invece, le 10 km in alternato hanno regalato il successo a Davide Graz e Maria Gismondi, all'interno della cornice della Nordic Arena per quella che è stata la prima tappa della Coppa Italia invernale.
