The weekend in which the Valdostana resort should be the theater of the event is that of 16 and 17 February 2019. It is currently only a hypothesis, but if the planned FIS inspection would be successful, then the return would become reality .
Cogne has already hosted the highest cross-country skiing circuit on several occasions. The first time in 1984, the last in 2006. In the logic of winter 2018 - 19, the appointment would be the last one before the Seefeld World Cup.
The potential return of the Vallée location is one of the major innovations in the drafts for the 2018-2020 biennial. But the most important thing is to create a second Tour de Ski in North Europe during February 2020. There are 7 stages to be discussed between Norway, Sweden and Scotland.
