As happened in the case of Martin Johnsrud Sundby, the Norwegian Ski Federation (NSF) has agreed to bear the expenses for the defense of Therese Johaug. This was announced by the athlete's lawyer, Christian B. Hjort, in an interview to NRK.

"We have filed a request to the federation, they were asking them to cover the costs, along with the Olympic Committee, and we received a positive response," said Hjort. The decision was confirmed by Espen Graff, communications manager for the NSF.
The acceptance of the request is the logical consequence of the position held until now by the entire Norwegian environment, according to which the responsibility of the case is to be charged entirely to Dr. Fredrik Bendiksen.
The demonstration of the federation support Johaug arrives in days of yet another attack on the warm front, the use of nebulizers in asthma treatment. The chorus of criticism has joined today the voice of Ole Morten Iversen, neo-Norwegian coach of Sweden. Iversen said that "Norway has pulled the rope too" on the issue of anti-asthmatic, expressing its support for the statements made yesterday by Hellner and Olsson and the head of national medical staff, Per Andersson.
