And the Davos Sprint, for the fourth time in his career, ended up in Federico Pellegrino's bag: the 17th victory in the World Cup is probably also the most beautiful for the Aosta Valley champion, because it was obtained by... almost a father, after having lived wonderful days alongside his wife, Greta Laurent, waiting for the little one to arrive before Christmas.
Just Greta wanted "Chicco" to travel towards Switzerland to once again challenge him, the titan, Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo: so it happens that the match prepared, logistically and also technically, in the least suitable way, becomes the most special. But it's no coincidence, as Pellegrino explained after the race, because the underlying serenity that the arrival of the eldest son in the family is giving him goes beyond any kind of tiredness.
