France's cross-country skiing for 2017 - '18 takes on a pyramid structure

The French Ski Federation announced the composition of the National Cross Country Teams for the 2017 - '18 season. It is interesting to note that it has been decided to radically modify the number of components in the various levels, ranging from a tower to a pyramid structure.

In fact, it has been decided to skim the Teams A, which, overall, are halved. In fact, the female is abolished (last year included two athletes), while male was down from 12 to 7 elements, again divided between distance group and sprint group. On the other hand, it greatly increases the strength of teams B, which are instead doubled. In fact, between 20 aggregates and 20 aggregates find shelter, including all rejected by teams A, when in 2016-17 it counted 10.
