The historic Fiemme race with a great novelty: for the first time, it will be visible live on Sky Sport, which hosted the launch event.

A record-breaking Marcialonga, for the 47th edition of the very classic Fiemmeese, scheduled for 26 January 2020. The official presentation took place in the Sky office in Milan, for the launch of an event that will take, along the traditional 70 km from Moena to Cavalese, over 7500 cross-country skiers from all over the world. One of the great innovations of the best race in the world (for two years) of the Visma Ski Classics circuit, concerns precisely the broadcaster that will broadcast it live, given that it will be a historic first for Sky Sport. Federico Ferri said he was honored by the new partnership: "We will strive to give the best possible image to such a prestigious event," said the director of Sky Sport, closely followed by the president of Marcialonga, Angelo Corradini. "The evolution from a country race to a sought after and internationally sought after television product is incredible. There was also the "Soreghina", or the godmother of Marcialonga, Michela Croce, for an event that next year will start from ... Friday (24 January 2020), with the "Supersprint - World Tour Championship" which is part of the circuit World Sprint Series and that will be staged in the heart of Cavalese. And then the side events, from Marcialonga Story, Saturday 25 January in Lago di Tesero, as Marcialonga Stars to help others by supporting the LILT, and the various Marcialonga Baby, Minimarcialonga and Marcialonga Young. The Olympic and world champion Marco Albarello highlighted the qualities of the double poling, while Fulvio Valbusa and Gabriella Paruzzi were also present at the Milanese launch. "Marcialonga is a race of its own, you breathe the air of the countries and you never feel alone - said the Olympian relay in Turin 2006", while the gold winner in Salt Lake City 2002, remembers how "Thanks to Marcialonga I won the World Cup, it remains an unforgettable moment". With the Italian champions, there will also be Visma Ski Classics teams, or Team Trentino Robinson and SottoZero Gold Team, for an event that will also highlight the other cycling and racing events, with Craft under the aegis of ACSI on May 31st and Coop (6 September), with Moena and Cavalese, starting and finishing points for the race.
