The requests of the Norwegian Ski Association presented to the FIS in today's meeting were clear: the Tour de Ski, to see the participation of the Scandinavian team, should possibly take place in one location, two at most. Johannes Klaebo, top athlete of the Norwegian team, has already expressed his willingness to participate in the Tour de Ski, scheduled from 1 to 10 January 2021, should it be held in a single competition venue.
Recall that Norway, Sweden and Finland have made the unanimous decision not to participate in the two December stages scheduled in Davos and Dresden.
"I have clearly told the FIS what we expect; Finland also has the same idea about this situation" - Norwegian cross-country manager Espen Bjervig explained to VG Sporten - "The FIS must take more responsibility and check that the organizers of the stages faithfully respect the previously established protocols ".
