With the absence of Klæbo and the elimination of Pellegrino in the quarterfinals, the Frenchman had an easy life in the final, winning the second victory of the season. Second victory in three races for the new phenomenon of the Swedish fund: Linn Svahn.

After setting the best time in qualifying, the French dominated all the elimination rounds, including the final, where he preceded the Norwegian Skar and the Swedish Haeggstroem. For the transalpine it is the second seasonal victory after that of Planica and at the moment it seems to be the only one able to counter the Klæbo phenomenon. Federico Pellegrino, 11th in qualifying, was instead eliminated in the battery after being buffered by the Frenchman Jouve.
In the women's final Linn Svahn made a head race from start to finish and left no escape for Anamarija Lampic 2nd and now leader of the sprint classification, and compatriot Maja Dahlqvist 3rd. For the 1999 Swedish class it is the second victory in three races in the World Cup, a sentence. The American Sophie Caldwell 4th, the Swedish Linn Soemskar 5th and the Swiss Laurien Van Der Graaff finished at the foot of the podium. Eliminate all the Norwegians in the semifinal, including Maiken Caspersen Falla. For Italy, Greta Laurent and Alice Canclini entered the points zone, both out of battery.
