At the World Junior Park City the day was dedicated to skiathlon, disputatisi on the distance of the 5 + 5 km for women and 10 + 10 km for men.

In the women's dust they are on quickly. Right from the start in a classic rhythm it was very high and soon leading the race remained a small group of only five girls: the Norwegian Marte Maehlum Johansen, the Italian Anna Comarella, the American Katharine Ogden, the German Antonia FRABEL and Sweden's Ebba Andersson.

Simone Daprà concluded in fifth position. Italy at home must also be recorded another positive performance by Luca Dal Fabbro, who finished ninth. Further back Mattia Armellini twenty-fourth and Jean Luc Perron forty.
