Norwegians for the Tour de Ski

The coach of the Norwegian national Ã…ge Skinstad has named the squad for the Tour de Ski, scheduled from December 28 to January 5.

The best results were obtained by Marit Bjoergen (second in 2007 and 2012) and Therese Johaug (second in 2011 and 2013) among women and Petter Northug (second in 2009, 2010 and 2011) between men. Moreover Northug is the record holder of stage wins in the Tour de Ski men, as many as 10. Among those who will be at the partial successes can count even Krogh (one stage), Bjoergen (five stages), Johaug (four stages, all related to climbing the Cermis) and Steira (two stages).
