Several athletes from the World Cup and Team A teams will be in Rovereto (Tn) for the usual physical tests at the beginning of the season.

From 2 to 3 July at CeRism will be engaged Francesco Defabiani, Dietmar Noeckler, Federico Pellegrino, Giandomenico Salvadori, Elisa Brocard, Greta Laurent, Ilaria Debertolis and Caterina Ganz. Later this group will move to Predazzo for an athletic meeting that will end on July 9th. The 8 athletes mentioned above will also be joined by Maicol Rastelli, Mirco Bertolina, Lucia Scardoni, Anna Comarella and Sara Pellegrini, with the technical director Marco Selle and the technicians Stefano Saracco and Simone Paredi.Da tomorrow in the locality of Trentino will also train the Italian national U23. The youth sector coordinator Pietro Piller Cottrer and technicians Renato Pasini and Luciano Cardini have called up sixteen athletes: Lorenzo Romano, Mikael Abram, Michael Hellweger, Simone Mocellini, Florian Cappello, Martina Bellini, Francesca Fanti, Stefan Zelger, Paolo Ventura, Giacomo Gabrielli, Simone Da Prà , Monica Tomasini, Ilenia Defrancesco, Martin Coradazzi, Chiara De Zolt Ponte and Cristina Pittin.

In Val Pusteria sono andate in scena due giornate della versione estiva dello sci di fondo, con Marco Pinzani e Federica Cassol che hanno tronfato nella sprint del sabato sull'asfalto di Anterselva. A Dobbiaco, invece, le 10 km in alternato hanno regalato il successo a Davide Graz e Maria Gismondi, all'interno della cornice della Nordic Arena per quella che è stata la prima tappa della Coppa Italia invernale.
