In qualifying internal to the French team for the last two places available for Beitostolen excel Clement Parisse and Damien Tarantola.

The two internal competitions were held in Davos, both lasting 12,5km, the first in freestyle and second in classical technique.
In the free technique prevailed Parisse on Tarantola for just two seconds, thanks to a great comeback made in the last 3 km. Third & egrave; Richard arrived Jouve, collapsed in the second half of the race and came in 36 seconds.
In qualifying the next day in classical technique, without the winner of the day before, prevailed Tarantola, by a wide margin on Alexis Jeannerod and Richard Jouve, third as the previous day.
