Pellegrino leads the Azzurri to the Tour de Ski: the 14 called up for the races that will open in 2021

The Aosta Valley rider will immediately aim very strongly on the sprint of January 1st in Val Mustair; De Fabiani is aiming for the classification with the grand final on 10 January on Cermis.

The fund's first ten days of 2021 will simply be ... Tour de Ski. The 15th edition of the winter event is approaching (even without the Norwegians at the start) and today the 14 Azzurri who will take part in it have been made official, with the sprint in skating in Val Mustair on January 1st to open the dances . On that day, Federico Pellegrino will be the big favorite for the possible trio after the successes of Davos and Dresden; in the men's field, Italy will field Francesco De Fabiani, with the aim of a decidedly important ranking by the other Aosta Valley leader of the group, as well as Mirco Bertolina, Davide Graz, Michael Hellweger, Giandomenico Salvadori and Paolo Ventura . Among the women, Elisa Brocard, Anna Comarella, Ilaria Debertolis, Martina Di Centa, Francesca Franchi, Greta Laurent and Lucia Scardoni are registered. After the sprints, on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 January we will remain in the Swiss town for the first distance races, in classic and then skating, followed on Tuesday 5 by another 10 km TL for girls and 15 for boys in that of Dobbiaco, which will then host the classic pursuit races the following day. Second and last rest on 7 January, then the grand finale in Val di Fiemme with double mass start on Friday 8, the classic sprints on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 January 2021, the traditional grand finale with the climb to Alpe Cermis.
