Pellegrino wants to recover Dresden: the national team towards the German weekend dedicated to sprints

The Aosta Valley, who scored twice in 2018, will challenge super Klaebo. And Lucia Scardoni can also amaze in skating: all the players called up for the tests on Saturday and Sunday in Saxony.

He is looking for the first seasonal victory, after the two second places of Planica and Lenzerheide, in one of "his" stages. Federico Pellegrino returns to Dresden to look for those successes that arrived in 2018, when the Aosta Valley champion imposed himself both in the individual race and in the sprint in pairs the following day together with Dietmar Noeckler. Saturday and Sunday in Saxony will be the sprint weekend in free technique, with the highly anticipated challenge that Pellegrino will still play with Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo; the Norwegian has decided to be there after finishing the Tour de Ski in 3rd place and will clearly be the number 1 opponent for "Chicco", who will compete with Maicol Rastelli, Stefan Zelger and Michael Hellweger (Francesco will still remain at rest De Fabiani). The calls for the women's sector concern Greta Laurent, Ilaria Debertolis, Alice Canclini and Lucia Scardoni, who will be looking for another important result also in skating, after the amazing 5th place in the classic sprint at Lago di Tesero.
