The race director of skiing Pierre Mignerey explains the reasons which lead the United States to have the opportunity in exceptional & agrave; to deploy to the 2015-16 all athletes of the group red even if their number exceeds the quota limit calculated.

This possibility & agrave; & Egrave; It was decided by the Sub-Committee of the World Cup and the Committee of Cross Country last June. The reasons, multiple, are the following.
1) During the first period of the World Cup, the US will have in the red group pi & ugrave; athletes than the initial shares. This situation & egrave; extremely rare, so much so that you & egrave; It occurred only a few times in past years.
2) If a nation has more & ugrave; athletes in the red group of the quota basis, meaning you should probably establish a rotation of the athletes to allow them to compete in as many races of the World Cup.
