Kikkan Randall and Sondre Turvoll Fossli they won the sprint Betostølen, last races of the three days of FIS in Norwegian land.

All easy to Kikkan Randall, holding the cup of specialty and safe protagonist again this year. The American, seventh in qualifying, beating all in the final round, winning in front of the Slovenian Vesna Fabjan and Katja Visnar. Only a fourth Marit Bjoergen evidently still not at his best, and round up the other finalist two Norwegians Celine Brun-Lie fifth and sixth Ingvild Flugstad Ostberg. It was not the way Therese Johaug, dominating the last few days, so we have not yet evidence on his alleged improvements in sprint races. For the first time in these three days, therefore we do not find any of the landlord on the podium, somewhat surprising result with respect to the premises and to the field of starters.
Among men win instead Sondre Turvoll Fossli, boy class of 1993 of which will surely hear speak at the World Cup. Fossli takes the luxury to overcome all the best countrymen since the qualifiers, he closed with the fastest time, and to impose a photo finish on Finn Haagen Krogh second and third Eirik Brandsdal. Øyestein Pettersen also beaten in the final quarter, the German Sebastian Eisenlauer fifth and sixth American Andy Newell. Of note is the qualification of Petter Northug, now enjoying a revival, author of the twenty-second time and eventually eliminated in the semifinals, and the nordic combined Magnus Moan, even the ninth time in front of some specialists such as Pål Golberg and Øyestein Pettersen, but out then in battery.
Thus ends the three-day Betostølen, from next Friday for all the Ruka Triple in Kuusamo, multistage race that will mark the beginning of the World Cup Cross Country Skiing 2013-14.
