The third edition will be dedicated to the records that will animate the tracks of Carnia Arena International Biathlon Center of Forni Avoltri from Saturday 7 to Sunday 8 September.

The Alpe Adria Summer Nordic Festival, an international cross-country skiing and roller-ski event, which in the last two summers has assigned the Italian summer titles to the Carnico plant, has broken every type of record this year.
The event organized as usual by the ASD Monte Coglians and by the Sci Cai Trieste ASD with the precious support of PromoturismoFVG, has in fact reached the incredible quota of 235 subscribers, a crazy data if you think that normally in an average competition of this kind 100-150 units are reached. Merit of the organizers and above all of the far-sightedness of the technical directors of the national cross-country skiing and roller skis who suggested to insert the Italian summer championship in the winter calendar of the Italian Cup and Coppa Italia Giovani Rode of cross-country skiing (albeit with half the score ) and the international calendar, which prompted all Italian regional committees and ski clubs to rush to Mass for Forni Avoltri.
Record also for foreign participation. Next Saturday and Sunday at the Federal Center of Piani di Luzza there will be at the start 16 foreign athletes representing neighboring Austria, the United States and even the very distant Mongolia who have opted for the Carnica race to go hunting for important FIS points in qualifying optics for the Youth Olympics (YOG) scheduled for next February in Lausanne.
In addition to the welcome foreign participation, there will be all the protagonists of the cross-country skiing and the Italian roller ski starting with the champion Federico Pellegrino, gold medalist in Lahti 2017 and vice-Olympic champion and world in charge in the sprint that Saturday will try to win his third consecutive summer title in the short distance. In the individual senior great attention will be paid to the winner of the first two editions Francesco De Fabiani, while the house idol Luca Del Fabbro will try to do well in his first senior competition. Among women there will be much more uncertainty with Greta Laurent, Ilaria Debertolis and Lucia Scardoni ready to play for the sprint title, while Elisa Brocard will aim to confirm the Italian flag won last year in the individual.
The rich program of the Alpe Adria Summer Nordic Festival weekend will open on Saturday 7 September with the sprint races. Starting from 09.30 am the boys of the Under 18 and Under 20 categories will battle, while in the early afternoon, at 14.30, the seniors will take to the track. Sunday, September 8th, instead, the rehearsals will take place. From 09.00 the youngsters of the Under 18 and Under 20 categories will be on the track, while the "big" will start at 11.15 am with the senior female race.
In addition to the competitive aspect, the organizers have also thought of some outline activities. During the competition period, a real sponsor village will be set up at the entrance of the stadium which will see the participation of companies in the sector such as, for example, the official suppliers of race roller skis: Ski Skett, Skiway and L'Ess, sponsors of the event but also of some fan clubs and it will be possible to buy the sought after Guru of Ski gadgets.
Media coverage will be provided by Neveitalia, the official media partner of the event that from June 2017 guarantees the webcam service to the Carnia Federal Center International Biathlon Center.
