The FIS has officially announced that it will & agrave; Davos to replace La Clusaz and to host the final races of the World Cup Cross Country Skiing 2014.

The heat that is hitting the Alpine regions has prevented the French organizers to set up a ring adapted to accommodate the evidence provided, so that yesterday & egrave; was finally raised the white flag. Even Davos is not doing better, so much so that the two distance races on the calendar tomorrow have been changed from 30 km to 15 km for men and from 15 km to 10 km for women.
Swiss organizers have still received the & rsquo; ok to replace La Clusaz and keep even the stage next weekend, l & rsquo; last of 2014 with regard to the World Cup Cross Country Skiing. However change the format: originally were supposed to play one skiathlon and a relay race for both men and women, impossible to & ograve; set up a ring suitable for these two types of races. Saturday, December 20 will be held cos & Igrave; distance two races, a men's 15 km and 10 km female, both in freestyle and starting at intervals, while Sunday, December 21 happening two sprint always skating. Yet to be decided departure times of the four races.
Following these changes Davos, one of the great classics of the World Cup Cross Country Skiing, will host & agrave; for the first time in its history & nbsp; two stages in the same season.
