There is a retreat for the blue cross-country skiing team: Ilaria Debertolis has announced her farewell to competition.
The woman from Pusteria, born in 1989, announced her decision with a short post on her Instagram page: "After so many years, the time has come to close this chapter of my life. This sport has taught me a lot and made me a person best. I thank all those who supported me in all these, in particular the Fiamme Oro Moena and all my sponsors. "
Ilaria Debertolis made her World Cup debut on 29 December 2011, in the Oberhof stage of the Tour de Ski. In one hundred twenty-eight races disputed he obtained as best result, on an individual level, an 8th place in the 15 km of Davos, on 10 December 2016. He took part in two editions of the Winter Olympic Games (Sochi 2014 and Pyeonchang 2018) and in five World Championships ( Val di Fiemme 2013, Falun 2015, Lahti 2017, Seefeld 2019 and Oberstdorf 2021) touching the medal in the 2013 sprint theme, where she finished fifth paired with Marina Piller.
