Cross-country skiing: Norway presents the teams for the 2022/2023 season

Twenty-four athletes, between men and women, will represent Norway in the 2022/2023 season of the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup. Johannes Klaebo will be the spearhead in the men's team, while a new era begins among women without Therese Johaug and Maiken Falla.

The Norwegian Ski Federation has released the compositions of the national teams for the 2022/2023 Cross-Country Skiing World Cup season. In total there will be twenty-four, between men and women, the norge who will take part in the top international circuit. In the men's field, the Norwegian cross-country skiers were divided into two teams: the '' Men''s Distance Elite Team '', led by Eirik Nossum, and the '' Men''s Sprint Elite Team '', coached by Arild Monsen . The team for the distance races will be composed of: Didrik Toenseth, Emil Iversen, Hans Holund, Harald Amundsen, Martin Nyenget, Simen Krueger and Sjur Roethe. On the other hand, Erik Valnes, Even Northug, Haavard Taugboel, Johannes Klaebo, Paal Golberg and Sindre Skar will be part of the '' sprint '' team. Unique team for the women's sector; the '' Women''s Elite Team '' will be formed by: Anne Stenseth, Anna Svendsen, Anne Kalvaa, Heidi Weng, Helene Fossesholm, Julie Myhre, Lotta Weng, Marte Skaanes, Mathilde Myhrvold, Ragnhild Haga and Tiril Weng.
