The Siberian resort, as reported by the Russian agency TASS, will be the scene of the final act of the next cross-country skiing World Cup.

After six seasons with no stops on the calendar, Russia is preparing to welcome the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup again for next season.
The news was announced by the president of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation, Elena Vaelbe, who made the following statements to the TASS agency: "The finals of the next World Cup will be held in Tyumen. This location is the pearl of the Siberia and from tomorrow we will start working on the realization of the event, also because some changes to the track are necessary, such as the final descent of the sprint lap. "
So the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup is preparing to return to Russian soil, where it has been missing since January 2015, when the Rybinsk stage was held. Tyumen was supposed to host the finals as early as 2017, but the nascent doping scandal led the Russian federation to forgo the event. The races are expected to take place from 18 to 20 March 2022.
